The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
